Secure Cohere’s AI-powered products through hands-on security reviews, threat modeling, testing, and reusable engineering guardrails.
What you'll do
- Review architecture, code, and security-sensitive changes; identify vulnerabilities and recurring design risks.
- Threat model and test AI product capabilities, investigate vulnerabilities, and work with engineers on remediation.
- Build secure defaults and reusable controls, and strengthen security practices across product teams.
What they ask for
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to understand, test, and contribute fixes to production codebases.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience leading security reviews or threat models for complex production systems and delivering meaningful improvements.
- Knowledge of common vulnerability classes and modern application architecture, including APIs, OAuth/OIDC, cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with agentic AI systems.
- Experience with security tooling, multi-tenant SaaS or sensitive data, offensive security, vulnerability disclosure, or security research.
