Embedded as a founding engineer in Compliance, this role identifies workflow automation opportunities and builds, deploys, and drives adoption of AI tools for regulatory processes.
What you'll do
- Surface and prototype high-value Compliance automation opportunities using Coinbase’s existing AI platform; own the automation roadmap and build-vs-buy strategy.
- Translate regulatory workflows into engineering requirements and ensure automated outputs are auditable, reviewable, and supported by human oversight.
- Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, prototype walkthroughs, and feedback loops.

$218,025 — $256,500 USD annual base salary (excluding equity and bonus)
