Leads Coinbase’s global KYC strategy, policy, and program execution across regulated entities, managing the KYC team and advising stakeholders on regulatory compliance.
What you'll do
- Set global KYC strategy and oversee policy, program implementation, advisory, and process design.
- Lead KYC professionals and oversee issue resolution, corrective actions, and consistent execution across jurisdictions.
- Partner with business, product, engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams on launches, regulatory matters, and executive reporting.

- 10+ years managing, designing, and implementing KYC programs at a financial institution, including direct people management.
- Deep knowledge of global AML, CTF, and sanctions regulations and ability to apply them to scalable, multi-jurisdiction KYC programs.
- Track record building and scaling global KYC programs, including policies, risk frameworks, and operational processes.
- Experience as a senior KYC escalation point, advising on client risk and representing the function to regulators and senior leadership.
