Leads commercial contract drafting and negotiation while improving contracting processes, using AI-enabled contract technology, and supervising contract specialists.
What you'll do
- Draft, review, and negotiate customer- and vendor-side commercial agreements, including data processing and technology agreements.
- Improve contract intake, templates, playbooks, lifecycle processes, reporting, and use of contract management technology.
- Supervise and develop contract specialists and advise business stakeholders on contractual risks and solutions.
What they ask for
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements from both customer and vendor/procurement perspectives, including data processing agreements and privacy and data-protection provisions.
- Working knowledge of GDPR and U.S. state privacy requirements; experience using a contract lifecycle management system or comparable technology.
- Experience using AI-enabled contract tools, supervising or mentoring legal professionals, and independently managing a meaningful volume of contracts.
