Leads development and delivery of carrier-grade network software, providing technical direction from architecture through operations and improving reliability, scalability, and security.
What you'll do
- Lead complex software initiatives through architecture, development, validation, deployment, and operational support.
- Analyze systems, troubleshoot production issues, and improve reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Mentor engineers and coordinate with QA, internal teams, vendors, and partners to deliver software releases.
What they ask for
- Hands-on software engineering in Linux-based systems using C, C++, Golang, and/or Python.
- Experience with large-scale network infrastructure, broadband access platforms, CMTS/vCMTS, DOCSIS/PON, or similar carrier-grade distributed systems.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, control-plane architecture, resiliency, upgrade compatibility, telemetry, and production debugging.
- Experience with cloud-native or containerized environments and demonstrated technical leadership of complex initiatives.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with DOCSIS technologies and cable modem interoperability.
- Experience with network equipment vendors or leading geographically distributed engineering teams.

USD $188,925.50 - $296,269.53 base salary
