Designs and manages fabrication, testing, and use of specialized tooling for handling and assembling SPARC tokamak components.
What you'll do
- Own the design and engineering development of tooling, lifting, manipulation, and support frames; analyze their structures and kinematics for safe operation.
- Coordinate assembly strategies and part movements with system teams, supporting access, alignment, and interference planning.
- Oversee tool fabrication and procurement, and prepare work instructions for tool assembly, proofing, activation, and use.
