Own and operate Commure’s multi-cloud network infrastructure, designing networking systems and patterns used by engineering teams across the company.
What you'll do
- Design and operate multi-cloud, hybrid, and Kubernetes networking, including routing, connectivity, and failover.
- Build network security, edge services, observability, and GitOps-based automation.
- Troubleshoot network and kernel issues and establish reusable infrastructure patterns for product teams.
What they ask for
- 6+ years of experience in cloud native networking or infrastructure engineering.
- Deep expertise in network fundamentals, including TCP/UDP/ICMP, BGP, IPsec, NAT, firewalls, and connection tracking.
- Experience with public cloud networking (GCP, AWS, Azure), Kubernetes and cloud-native networking, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience designing and operating VPN and site-to-site connectivity at scale, and with network security and observability.
Nice to have
