About the job

Leads CookUnity’s labeling and nutrition compliance program, governing product data, laboratory validation, claims approval, and controlled label and customer-facing content releases.

What you'll do

  • Own the create, review, approve, and distribute (CRAD) process, including governance, release controls, and KPI reporting.
  • Set technical criteria for ingredient data and labeling; oversee third-party laboratory validation and approve substantiated product and nutrition claims.
  • Coordinate cross-functional verification of labels, production execution, and website content; hold or reject releases when evidence is insufficient.

What they ask for

  • Practical experience reviewing packaged-food labels, ingredient and allergen declarations, nutrition calculations, and claim substantiation.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. FDA food-labeling requirements and ability to determine when USDA FSIS or other market requirements apply.
  • Experience connecting supplier specifications, ingredient databases, formulations, recipe systems, nutrition analysis, artwork, and production through controlled workflows.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs and implementing change without relying solely on direct reporting authority.

Nice to have

  • Experience in multi-site prepared meal operations.
  • Experience with recipe-management systems and supplier-data platforms.
