Administers US and Canadian benefits, leave, and accommodation programs, managing vendors, compliance, employee inquiries, and operational improvements.
What you'll do
- Own benefits enrollment and eligibility processes, reconcile carrier data, and coordinate payroll deductions.
- Administer US and Canadian leave and accommodation processes, including the ADA interactive process and provincial duty to accommodate.
- Manage vendors and compliance activities; resolve complex inquiries and maintain playbooks and process improvements.

- Hands-on ownership of US benefits and leave, including FMLA, multi-state leave, ADA and PWFA accommodations, and applicable benefits compliance.
- Canadian benefits and leave experience, including EI and top-up coordination, Records of Employment, provincial leaves, and accommodation requirements.
- Experience managing leave TPAs, COBRA administrators, brokers, carriers, and EDI troubleshooting.
- Workday HCM experience in Benefits and Absence; proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack.
Nice to have
- Federal contractor experience, Quebec benefits and leave experience, or CEBS, CBP, or CLMS certification.
- Active use of AI tools with practices for protecting PHI and personal data; experience in operationally complex environments.
Pay
$127,000 to $168,000 USD base salary
