About the job
Own and scale the IT SOX compliance program by defining controls and workflows, supporting consistent execution and evidence, and managing deficiencies and remediation.
What you'll do
- Manage the IT control inventory and create audit-ready control documentation, including narratives, risk and control matrices, and procedures.
- Partner with IT, Accounting, and the SOX team to design controls for systems, oversee execution, and improve evidence and reporting workflows.
- Manage control deficiencies from root cause analysis through remediation, retesting, escalation, and reporting.
What they ask for
- 6+ years of experience in IT audit, IT risk, IT compliance, or a related field, with hands-on IT SOX experience.
- Deep familiarity with IT General Controls, including access management, change management, SDLC, and computer operations.
- Experience supporting enterprise business systems and GRC platforms.
- Strong understanding of PCAOB auditing standards, the COSO framework, and COBIT as applied to IT controls.
Nice to have
- CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CPA certification.
- Experience in a hyperscaler, cloud infrastructure, or high-growth technology environment, or scaling an IT SOX program at a newly public or pre-IPO company.
Pay
USD 153,000 to USD 204,000 base salary
