About the job
Architects and implements network security controls to protect CoreWeave’s cloud infrastructure, data center networks, and AI workloads.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy network perimeter and internal-fabric protections, including segmentation, firewalls, and Zero Trust controls.
- Monitor network security events, identify vulnerabilities, and coordinate incident response.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on secure designs, security policies, and security education.
What they ask for
- 3–7 years of hands-on network security engineering experience, including exposure to large-scale cloud or hyperscaler environments.
- Knowledge of network security, including DDoS mitigation, high-speed data center fabrics, web exploits, and Zero Trust.
- Practical knowledge of cloud and network architectures, protocols, segmentation, VPNs, firewalls, cloud platforms, and containerized environments.
- Experience contributing to security initiatives, educating engineering partners, and implementing security policies and controls; familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC2.
Nice to have
- Experience at a top-tier cloud provider or hyperscale environment.
- Zero Trust and IAM experience; scripting with Python, Go, or similar; relevant security certifications; or security-community/open-source involvement.
Pay
$153,000 to $204,000 USD base salary
