About the job

Builds observability and performance-insight systems that turn AI infrastructure telemetry into real-time signals for diagnosing GPU, network fabric, and distributed workload health and performance.

What you'll do

  • Design anomaly detection, diagnosis, alerting, and time-series metrics systems across GPU fleets, network fabrics, and training and inference workloads.
  • Build and optimize telemetry pipelines, time-series infrastructure, and performance data lake architecture to support real-time and historical analysis.
  • Tune query performance and, secondarily, develop self-service reporting views for internal teams.

What they ask for

  • 5+ years building distributed systems, observability platforms, or performance engineering tooling.
  • Strong Python or Go coding skills and deep familiarity with networked systems, GPU infrastructure, and performance analysis.
  • Production-scale Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability stack experience, plus working knowledge of time-series databases and PromQL or MetricsQL.
  • Comfort with GPU utilization, interconnect fabric health, and distributed training/inference performance; strong cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience with time-series databases, LSM-based storage engines, custom telemetry pipelines, or large GPU fleet benchmarking and monitoring.
  • Experience with MLPerf or similar audited benchmarks, relevant OSS contributions, CUDA, NCCL/SHARP, RDMA/NUMA, or GPU interconnect topologies.
