About the job
Owns day-to-day project accounting for data center construction capital costs, including CIP tracking, accruals, reconciliations, capitalization support, and reporting.
What you'll do
- Maintain project capital spend records, support project cost structures, and troubleshoot cost flows between NetSuite and SiteTracker.
- Prepare monthly accruals, cost-to-complete schedules, shared-cost allocations, CIP reconciliations, and supporting analyses for capitalization and useful-life decisions.
- Maintain SOX 404 documentation, support audits, resolve outstanding items, and identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
What they ask for
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with a background in capital, construction, or fixed asset accounting.
- Experience preparing accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules on a fixed close calendar; understanding of CIP-to-fixed-asset transfers.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, familiarity with a SOX control environment, strong Excel skills, and ERP systems experience.
- Work authorization that does not require company sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Fixed asset or capital accounting experience in data centers or comparable capital-intensive infrastructure; exposure to project costing or construction cost systems.
