Own risk selection and pricing across Corgi’s insurance book, including assessing, binding, and monitoring risks and refining underwriting terms and guidelines.
What you'll do
- Assess, price, and bind risks; review submissions and make accept, decline, or refer decisions.
- Draft and refine policy wordings, endorsements, and coverage terms; work with brokers and distribution partners to structure deals.
- Monitor bound business and feed insights into pricing models, underwriting guidelines, and product development.
What they ask for
- 2–3+ years of underwriting experience at a traditional carrier, MGA, or Lloyd's syndicate.
- Strong technical grounding in pricing, risk selection, and policy wording.
- Exposure to multiple product lines and ability to interpret actuarial outputs commercially.
- Willing and able to work from the office six days per week.
Nice to have
- Portfolio underwriting experience; experience across multiple product lines.
- CII qualifications or progress toward ACII; experience with delegated authority or building underwriting guidelines from scratch.
Pay
