What you'll do

  • Build 1D network, transient, CFD, and thermal-fluid models to assess system performance and component sizing.
  • Plan and support fluid-system tests, reduce and analyze test data, and correlate models against measurements.
  • Maintain analysis methods and data, investigate anomalies, and communicate results and uncertainty.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of fluid system analysis experience for flight vehicles, propulsion systems, or other high-performance hardware.
  • Experience with 1D fluid-system modeling, internal-flow CFD, and Python (NumPy, pandas) or MATLAB.
  • Experience reducing and interpreting test data, including correlating analytical predictions against measurements.

Nice to have
