Fits and welds steel structures to drawings and specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and production standards.
What you'll do
- Positions, aligns, and welds steel parts using blueprints, machinery, torches, and hand tools.
- Moves and examines workpieces, measures welds, and repairs defects to meet specifications.
- Works with minimal supervision and may train Fitter I employees.
