About the job
Operates CNC machinery in a steel plant, measuring and machining steel structures to specification while maintaining safe operation.
What you'll do
- Operate CNC machines and adjust controls, feeds, speeds, and cutting tools as needed.
- Measure finished steel structures and mount, align, and secure workpieces and tooling.
- Detect machine issues, modify and save cutting programs, and perform daily preventative maintenance.

- Ability to read and interpret typed reports and schedules.
