Submerged Arc Welder - Weekend Shift

What you'll do

• Welds steel using a submerged arc welding machine and adjusts settings for pole thickness and type.
• Inspects machinery, measures and adjusts hydraulic arms, and loads and unloads shells using an overhead crane and lifting equipment.
• Performs daily preventative maintenance and safely operates machinery within required parameters.

What they ask for

• Ability to read and interpret typed reports and schedules.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must complete on-site training and demonstrate safe operation of machinery.

Nice to have

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications or prior experience using moving machinery, such as cranes.
