Performs aluminum bus pipe and cable-jumper cutting, fitting, and welding to produce quality components for packaged substations.
What you'll do
- Positions, aligns, and welds parts to blueprints and layout specifications using welding equipment, machinery, and hand tools.
- Inspects work, prepares joints, and cleans welds to meet specifications and quality standards.
- Works safely and efficiently, maintains production flow, and may train Welder Apprentices.
