Sr. Site Reliability Engineer - Core Platform & Embedded Reliability (Hybrid)

What you'll do

• Set reliability roadmaps and lead architectural improvements across product groups.
• Build and maintain services, shared libraries, observability, SLOs, and infrastructure automation.
• Lead performance and cost optimization, resilience initiatives, and complex incident follow-up; mentor engineers.

What they ask for

• 10+ years building and operating distributed systems and service-oriented backends at scale.
• 5+ years developing SaaS microservices in a modern backend language; expert proficiency in a programming language and expert Go or willingness and ability to reach that level.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, scaling, concurrency, and organizationally impactful architectural decisions.
• Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems; proven use of AI technologies to improve decisions, workflows, efficiency, and outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, cloud providers, or distributed technologies such as AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Experience with multi-cloud systems, internal platforms, cost optimization, performance engineering, chaos engineering, SLO/SLI frameworks, open source, or cybersecurity.

Pay

$140,000 - $215,000 per year (base salary)
