Staff Engineer, Customer Insights & Alerts

What you'll do

• Build and maintain signal correlation, deduplication, thresholds, grouping, severity scoring, and feedback loops.
• Develop anomaly-detection pipelines and integrate ML/RL outputs into customer alerts and insights.
• Ship and scale customer-facing features and backend systems; lead design discussions and mentor engineers.

What they ask for

• Deep experience building anomaly-detection systems, heuristic rule engines, or ML/RL systems for infrastructure or data-intensive domains.
• Strong foundation in reliable, scalable distributed backend systems and complex architectural discussions.
• 5+ years shipping production software using modern compiled or systems languages (Go, Rust, C++, Java, or similar).
• Expertise with time-series data, telemetry pipelines, and observability primitives.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPU profiling tools (Nsight, NCCL Inspector), hardware diagnostics, or observability products.
• Experience shipping production agentic applications, applying reinforcement learning to operational problems, or working with large-scale fleet or cloud infrastructure.

Pay

up to $210,000 - $255,000 USD base salary; Bonus amount not stated
