About the job
Own the production readiness, scale, and reliability of Customer.io’s AI agents for go-to-market teams.
What you'll do
- Move agents from prototypes to production by writing evaluations, improving prompts and tool definitions, and refactoring code.
- Build and maintain agent tracing, logging, monitoring, deployment pipelines, and database operations.
- Monitor production agents, triage issues, and collaborate with the GTM AI team on ongoing improvements.
What they ask for
- 4+ years in software engineering, platform/infrastructure engineering, or a similarly technical role.
- Experience with cloud hosting and hands-on database administration, including how agents interact with and edit databases.
- Familiarity with LLM application development, including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, evaluations, and modern agent frameworks.
