Provides clinic-based primary and family care at MinuteClinic locations in Norwich and Brooklyn, Connecticut, including in-person care and virtual visits when clinic volume allows.
What you'll do
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions; provide preventive care, counseling, testing, and injury and illness treatment.
- Provide in-person and clinic-based virtual visits, coordinate care, and support wellness, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings.
- Handle clinic operations including inventory, opening and closing, follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and appointment management.

- For nurse practitioners: accredited Family Nurse Practitioner master’s degree, current AANP or ANCC board certification, and active unrestricted state APRN/FNP license.
- For physician associates: qualifying master’s degree and current NCCPA certification; active unrestricted state PA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
- Active Basic Life Support certification; ability to pass a respirator FIT test and complete a DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to provide required clinical care, including counseling on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices for NPs; ability to order/administer vaccines and injections for NPs.
Nice to have
- Experience with the EPIC electronic health record.
- Virtual care assessment and decision-making experience; familiarity with digital health tools and virtual communication technologies.
