Provides clinic-based primary and family care, including in-person and virtual visits, for acute and chronic conditions at Austin-area clinics.
What you'll do
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions; provide preventive counseling and screenings.
- Perform diagnostic testing and coordinate patient care, including virtual visits from the clinic when appropriate.
- Handle clinic operations such as inventory, opening and closing, follow-up, insurance verification, and payments.
What they ask for
- NP: accredited Family Nurse Practitioner master’s degree, current AANP or ANCC board certification, and active, unrestricted state APRN/FNP license; or PA: qualifying master’s degree and current NCCPA certification with an active, unrestricted state PA license or eligibility to obtain one upon hire.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ability to pass a respirator FIT test.
- Complete DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment; obtain and maintain multi-state licensure based on business needs.
- Ability to provide evidence-based care, administer vaccines and injections (NPs), and be physically present at the assigned clinic.
Nice to have
- Experience with the EPIC electronic health record.
- Virtual-care assessment and decision-making experience, familiarity with digital health tools, or prior MinuteClinic precepting rotation (if provider experience is under one year).
Pay
$64.50-73.50/hr (hourly pay rate; base status not specified); $46.03 - $99.14 (base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary)
