About the job
Educates and advocates for Oak Street Health patients as they navigate Medicare, insurance coverage, bills, and related healthcare resources.
What you'll do
- Help patients understand insurance options, coverage, benefits, eligibility, and medical bills; serve as a clinic resource on insurance questions.
- Manage new-patient welcome and orientation, explain public-benefit programs, and support patient access and retention.
- Support clinic operations and patient engagement, including scheduling, billing, and events.
