Provides clinical pharmacy support to long-term care dispensing pharmacies by reviewing medication therapy, resolving payer rejections, coordinating authorizations and therapeutic alternatives, and delivering medication therapy management.
What you'll do
- Assess and intervene in prescribed medication therapy, including managing rejected claims, prior authorizations, and medical exceptions.
- Provide Medication Therapy Management and request therapeutic interchanges or formulary changes, updating pharmacy orders based on prescriber responses.
- Coordinate National Account or multi-chain customer requests and support long-term care pharmacy operations.
