About the job
Dispenses medications for long-term care facilities overnight, ensuring accurate, safe, and timely order processing and supporting pharmacy operations.
What you'll do
- Screen, process, verify, and dispense routine and emergency medication orders; check labels, packaging, and orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain pharmacy security and Schedule II drug inventory, and follow delivery schedules and applicable regulations, including HIPAA.
- Prepare or supervise sterile IV products if required, and provide scheduled evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
