Dispense and verify medications for long-term care facilities, ensuring orders and packaging are accurate and clinically appropriate while providing drug information and pharmacy services.
What you'll do
- Verify medication orders, labels, and packaging for accuracy and completeness; ensure dispensed medications are clinically appropriate.
- Provide drug information to providers and facilities, and prepare or supervise sterile IV products as required.
- Maintain Schedule II inventory and comply with controlled-drug, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations.
