Provides district-wide pharmacist coverage and oversees pharmacy operations, patient care, and pharmacy teams during scheduled shifts.
What you'll do
- Travel within the district to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and oversee pharmacy operations, sometimes serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy.
- Dispense and counsel safely, provide immunizations and permissible clinical services, and help resolve patient medication or insurance issues.
- Guide pharmacy teams in workflow, inventory management, patient care, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
