What you'll do
- Follow up with third-party insurers and governmental payers by phone, internet, and in writing to resolve account balances and collection issues.
- Validate credit balances and billing, identify overpayments, and process refunds, claim reversals, payer offsets, and adjustments.
- Document resolution actions and maintain patient demographic information and data collection systems.
