What you'll do
- Follow up with insurers and governmental payers by phone, internet, and writing about unpaid, recouped, or underpaid claims.
- Research and resolve insurance-related invoice issues, contacting patients and physician offices as needed to expedite claims.
- Document collection actions and maintain patient demographic information and data collection systems.
