About the job
Supports primary care providers by documenting patient visits, improving clinical documentation, and assisting with care-team workflows.
What you'll do
- Observe and document patient encounters, assign CPT and ICD-10 codes, and prepare After Visit Summaries.
- Support clinical documentation improvement through medical-record review, population health tools, huddles, and provider consultation.
- Provide administrative support, including placing orders and referrals and addressing care-team tasks.
What they ask for
- Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications, gained through a pre-medical degree or prior clinical experience.
- Advanced listening and communication skills; strong computer literacy and ability to learn technical workflows.
- Ability to adapt, take direction, work in person during clinic hours, and comply with HIPAA and workplace policies.
- Ability to commit to at least 1 year, work approximately 40–45 hours per week, and have US work authorization.
Nice to have
