About the job
Supports primary care providers by documenting patient visits, improving clinical documentation, and assisting with follow-up and care-team tasks.
What you'll do
- Observe visits and document patient encounters, code with CPT and ICD-10, and prepare after-visit summaries.
- Review records and use population health tools to support documentation improvement and care-gap closure.
- Place orders and referrals, address tasks, and provide administrative support to the provider and care team.
What they ask for
- Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications, from a pre-medical degree or prior clinical experience.
- Advanced listening and communication skills, strong computer literacy, and ability to learn new workflows.
- Ability to adapt, take direction, work as part of a patient-care team, and attend work in person at clinics.
- Commit to at least 1 year; work approximately 40–45 hours per week during clinic hours; comply with HIPAA and have US work authorization.
Nice to have

$17.00 - $28.46 USD base hourly rate
