About the job
Supports primary care providers by documenting patient encounters, improving clinical documentation, and assisting with care-team workflows.
What you'll do
- Observe visits and document structured notes, assign CPT and ICD-10 codes, and prepare after-visit summaries.
- Support documentation improvement by reviewing records, using population health tools, and preparing for clinical huddles and reviews.
- Assist providers and care teams with orders, referrals, tasks, and other documentation-related responsibilities.

- Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications, through a pre-medical degree or prior clinical experience.
- Advanced listening and communication skills; strong computer literacy and ability to learn technical workflows.
- Ability to adapt, take direction, work as part of a care team, and attend work in person at clinics.

Nice to have
- Prior clinical experience, including shadowing or volunteering.
- Prior scribe or transcription experience; typing speed of 70+ words per minute is strongly preferred.
Pay
$17.00 - $28.46 USD base hourly rate
