About the job
Supports primary care providers by documenting patient encounters, improving clinical documentation, and assisting with care-team workflows.
What you'll do
- Observe visits and document structured clinical notes, assign CPT and ICD-10 codes, and prepare after-visit summaries.
- Review medical records and use population health tools to support documentation improvement and care-gap closure.
- Place orders and referrals, address tasks, and provide administrative support to the provider and care team.
What they ask for
- Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications, from a pre-medical degree or prior clinical experience.
- Advanced listening and communication skills; strong computer literacy and ability to learn technical workflows.
- Ability to adapt to workflows, take direction, work in a patient-care team, and attend work in person at clinics.
- Commit to at least 1 year; work approximately 40–45 hours per week during clinic hours; comply with HIPAA and have US work authorization.
Nice to have
