About the job
Provides clinic-based primary and family care, including in-person visits and virtual visits from the clinic when patient volume allows.
What you'll do
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions; provide preventive care and counseling.
- Conduct diagnostic testing, screenings, injury and illness treatment, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
- Handle clinic operations such as inventory, opening and closing, follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection.
What they ask for
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program and current AANP or ANCC national board certification.
- Active, unrestricted FNP/APRN license; obtain and maintain multi-state licensure as business needs require.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; complete DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment and pass a respirator FIT test.
- Ability to provide evidence-based care, including counseling on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex, and to order/administer vaccines and injections.
Nice to have
- Experience with the EPIC electronic health record.
- Virtual-care assessment and decision-making experience; familiarity with digital health and virtual communication tools.
Pay
$50.22 - $108.15 USD base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary
