About the job
Provides clinic-based primary and family care, including in-person visits and virtual care when clinic volume permits.
What you'll do
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions; provide preventive counseling and screenings.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals.
- Handle clinic operations such as inventory, opening and closing, follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection.
What they ask for
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program and current AANP or ANCC board certification.
- Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing; obtain and maintain multi-state licensure based on business needs.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; complete DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment and pass a respirator FIT test.
- Ability to provide evidence-based care, including counseling on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices, and to order/administer vaccines and injections.
Nice to have
- Experience with the EPIC electronic health record.
- Virtual care assessment and decision-making experience, or familiarity with digital health tools and virtual communication technologies.
Pay
$41.85 - $90.13 USD base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary
