Dispenses and verifies medications for long-term care facilities, ensuring accurate, safe, and timely pharmacy services.
What you'll do
- Screen, process, and dispense routine and emergency medication orders; verify entries, labels, packaging, and refills.
- Maintain pharmacy security and controlled-drug inventory, follow delivery schedules, and comply with applicable regulations, including HIPAA.
- Prepare or supervise sterile IV products if required and provide scheduled evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage.
