Dispenses and verifies medications for long-term care facilities, ensuring accurate, safe, and timely pharmacy services on an overnight 7-on/7-off schedule.
What you'll do
- Enter and verify medication orders, labels, and drug packaging for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide routine and emergency drug screening, processing, dispensing, and, if required, prepare or supervise sterile IV products.
- Maintain pharmacy security and controlled-drug inventory, meet delivery schedules, and follow applicable regulations, including HIPAA.
