A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care while completing training to prepare for pharmacist responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy procedures, and support smooth pharmacy operations.
- Assist patients with service and, under pharmacist supervision, counseling, medical questions, and prescription-related communication as permitted by law.
- Complete training experiences and support inventory, immunizations, and other patient care services where permitted and appropriately trained.
