A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care while completing practical training in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy workflow and procedures, and support inventory activities.
- Assist patients with service and health-care needs, including counseling or prescription clarification under a licensed pharmacist’s supervision where permitted.
- Complete the training roadmap and, where authorized and trained, support immunizations and other patient-care services.
