A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care under pharmacist supervision while completing a training roadmap to prepare for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, pharmacy workflow, and inventory tasks in accordance with procedures and applicable laws.
- Assist patients with service and care, including counseling or medical questions under pharmacist supervision and, where permitted and trained, immunizations and other health services.
- Complete training experiences and collaborate with pharmacy staff while following safety, privacy, and compliance requirements.
