A third-year pharmacy intern trains under a pharmacist preceptor and supports retail pharmacy operations, prescription fulfillment, and patient care while preparing for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Complete a training roadmap covering pharmacy and store operations, and apply standard procedures and best practices.
- Support safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and provide patient service and counseling under pharmacist supervision, where appropriate.
- Assist with inventory and, where permitted and trained, immunizations and other patient health services.
