A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care under pharmacist supervision while completing training to prepare for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Assist with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, pharmacy workflow, inventory tasks, and compliance with pharmacy procedures and laws.
- Serve patients with empathy, answer or escalate questions, and support services such as immunizations where permitted and appropriately trained.
- Complete a pharmacy training roadmap and collaborate with the pharmacy team, including providing coaching and adapting to store staffing needs.
