About the job
Under a licensed pharmacist’s direct supervision, a third-year pharmacy intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care programs, helping ensure safe, effective, and high-quality care.
What you'll do
- Support patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory, and workflow management; excludes final prescription verification.
- Help adopt and manage patient care programs, including providing immunizations when state regulations permit.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team and provide caring, empathetic service to patients and customers.
