A third-year Pharmacy Intern trains under a preceptor and supports retail pharmacy operations, prescription fulfillment, patient care, and team development while preparing for a Pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy procedures to help fill prescriptions safely and accurately and keep operations running smoothly.
- Serve patients with empathy, answer or escalate concerns, and support counseling and health services under pharmacist supervision where permitted.
- Complete the training roadmap and assist with inventory, team coaching, compliance, and immunization-related tasks where permitted and appropriately trained.
