A third-year pharmacy intern applies pharmacy-school learning in a retail pharmacy, supporting safe prescription fulfillment, patient care, and pharmacy operations under a preceptor and licensed pharmacist.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy procedures and assist with accurate prescription fulfillment, workflow, and basic inventory activities.
- Support patient service by answering questions, offering or supporting health services, and referring or escalating matters as appropriate under pharmacist supervision.
- Complete the training roadmap and comply with applicable laws, professional standards, and company policies.
