A third-year pharmacy intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care while completing supervised training in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy procedures, and assist with workflow and inventory activities.
- Support patient service by answering questions, gathering medical history, taking or clarifying prescriptions where permitted, and helping provide immunizations or other services under required supervision and training.
- Complete a training roadmap and work with pharmacy leaders and team members to develop clinical, technical, and operational skills.
