A third-year pharmacy student intern supports retail pharmacy operations and patient care under a pharmacist’s direction while completing training in preparation for a pharmacist role.
What you'll do
- Help fill prescriptions safely and accurately, follow pharmacy procedures, and support daily operations and inventory tasks.
- Assist patients with service and counseling under pharmacist supervision; take or clarify prescriptions where state regulations allow.
- Complete the training roadmap and, where permitted and appropriately trained, support immunizations and other health services.
