A third-year pharmacy intern applies pharmacy-school learning in a retail pharmacy, supporting prescription fulfillment, patient care, and pharmacy operations under a preceptor’s direction.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy procedures to help fill prescriptions safely and accurately and keep pharmacy operations running smoothly.
- Assist patients with service, counseling, health questions, and other care activities under pharmacist supervision, as permitted by law.
- Complete a training roadmap and support inventory, compliance, and pharmacy-team development activities.
